More Cincinnati-area neighborhoods will be connected via the Wasson Way Bike Trail this year. Project organizers recently announced phase two of the trail is expected to be completed in 2019. The trail currently runs a half mile from Madison Avenue in Hyde Park to Tamarack Avenue. Phase two extends the trail another 0.7 miles, from Tamarack to Montgomery Road.
Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, during a press conference announcing new federal and private funding sources, noted that it is his goal to extend the trail to Ault Park before he leaves office in 2021.
